Pre Paid Card: A debit card that only allows the cardholder to spend the amount of the balance on the card and avoids overspending:

Using Pre Paid Debit cards

Using Pre Paid Debit cards would allow us to transfer funds from a credit union account in a convenient, efficient and effective manner with the minimum delay to our members. There is obviously a cost for this convenience. In the following cost scenarios please indicate the order of your preference with number 1 being your first choice.

Scenario (note, all scenarios have an initial card set up cost of approx £6)

A monthly charge of £3.95 but no point of sale transaction* costs with the ability to use cashback facility instead of an ATM:

A monthly charge of £1.95 and a charge of £0.20p for point of sale transactions*, no cashback facility and a £1.00 charge for ATM withdrawals:

No monthly charge but a 2.75% (max £1.25) for point of sale transactions* and £1.00 charge for ATM withdrawals:

A monthly charge of £0.50p and a charge of 0.5% for point of sale transactions* and the ability to use the cashback facility instead of an ATM:

We are recruiting volunteer Credit Union Champions within this area who will act as our eyes and ears to ensure that our services are being delivered in the most efficient and effective manner. They will also act as local contacts for new and potential members and may be asked to host information sessions at various locations throughout the Clydesdale district. If you would like to be considered for one of these positions please enter your details in the box below and one of our staff will contact you.:

We have already made several presentations to various organisations in the Clydesdale area. We would be more than willing to visit other organisations in this area to discuss our proposed services and products so if you belong to any group or organisation which you feel would benefit from such a meeting then please enter the groups details below with a contact name and address and we will contact them to make arrangements:
